University of Karachi Alumni Association in Canada  (UKAA)

                                             Scholarship announcement for the Year 2013 - 2014

This is the 11th. year that the University of Karachi Alumni Association in Canada  (UKAA) is pleased to announce the scholarship awards. The purpose of this financial assistance is to encourage needy and deserving students to achieve their academic goal for a  Bachelor or Master degree in any faculty of the university.

The scholarship amount for the year 2013-2014 is set at Rs. 10,000. This money would be awarded to selected students according to the standards and criteria established by the UKAA scholarship committee. Successful applicants will be informed by email to pick up their cheques from Professor Zahid Mahmood of Department of Statistics at University of Karachi. Only Pakistani nationals and full time students of the University of Karachi are eligible to apply.

Please read following instructions carefully before completing your applications. Make sure you use the latest application form for the year 2013-2014 by downloading the following form from  www.uofkalumni.com  (Do not use any old forms).

INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW:

(1) Please complete the form in legible printing

(2) Have your application form signed, dated and stamped by your Department Head.

(3) Attach clear photocopies of the following documents (also attested by your Department Head)

(a) Copy of University ID Card.

(b) Copy of NIC

(c) Copy of most recent transcript (include last two semesters)

(4) Mail completed application by ORDINARY MAIL ONLY 

(We have no arrangement to receive registered mail or any special delivery mail).

(5) Deadline for receiving the application is September 15, 2013.
